Week 6 Postponed Due To Weather
Due to forecasted severe weather and unsafe playing conditions expected across the region Sunday, The League has officially postponed all Week Six matchups originally scheduled for this weekend. The decision was made prioritizing the safety of athletes, staff, officials, and fans after careful monitoring of weather advisories and field conditions from local authorities.
Games affected by this postponement include all four scheduled Sunday contests featuring teams from both the North and South Conferences. While The League fully understands the excitement and momentum heading into Week Six, conditions such as heavy snow, sleet, cold winds, and potential storm activity would compromise both competitive integrity and participant safety.
The League Operations Director Coach King released a statement affirming the postponement:
“We’re committed to providing a safe and fair playing environment for every team. While postponements are never easy, our athletes and supporters should never have to contend with dangerous weather. We’re working now with all teams and the venue to reschedule these games at the soonest available dates.”
All tickets, sponsorship placements, and broadcast arrangements for Week Six will remain valid for the rescheduled games. Fans who purchased tickets online will be notified via email with instructions and new game dates once finalized. Social media channels and The League website will also display real-time updates.
Teams will take this weekend to rest, regroup, and continue preparations for the next available playing window. The League thanks its partners, sponsors, and supporters for their flexibility and understanding as operations adjust to shifting weather patterns.
