Basketball Rules

CLOCK

• 4 - 10 Minute Quarters
• Clock will run unless a timeout or last 2 minutes of the 2nd and 4th quarter
• 5 Minute Halftime
• 8 sec Half court clock
• 25 sec shot clock
• 14 sec offensive rebound shot clock
• Clock will start on time as scheduled regardless

IN GAME

• All players must get dressed in the rooms behind the scoring table before and after the game.
• Only players on listed the roster can play.
• Players that are non members can choose to walk on to any team during any 3 games of that day for $20 total but will be added to a team in need 1st.
• At the start of the game if the team does not have 4 or more players, GM's (only) must add available walk-ons (players who have paid $20 to run) before adding no more than 5 subs (1 per opposing team).
• If you are not on a teams roster before the game starts - you can not join a team after jump ball.
• Players must report to scoring table before checking into game, when ref's gives the ok!
• Uniforms must be returned if you do not have anything on your players fee, as suspensions or fines will be enforced towards next upcoming game.

DRAFT

• Draft pick trades must be confirmed before the current team on the draft boards clock pick is revealed.

CUT | TRADE DEADLINES

• All trades must be completed and confirmed as of Week 3. 
• If any player drafted has not made a payment by Week 3 they will be cut and replaced with players on the waiting list.

LOCATION

• All D-League teams play at The League Arena unless granted permission and confirmation from The League within 2 weeks before gameday. 
• All National teams play at The League Arena for season 1, season 2 teams play in their own respected gym/facility in there home state.

PLAYOFFS

• Top 2 teams from each conference advance to the playoffs 1st round and play for there respected conference title. (min. 6 teams)
• Winners of each conference advance to the The League Championship game held at The League Arena.

PAYMENTS

• (NOT INCLUDING NIL DEALS) Players are given a promo code upon signing up. At the start of each game week players are given ten (10) tix with promo code on back, if the player sells ten (10) tix (or 5 tix in person plus 5 via online with promo code used) players will receive 30%, if anyone buys merch using a players promo code - players will receive a %. As The League Payroll Dept. closes on weekends, ALL payments are processed on the following Mondays at noon. If you elected to be paid by check, it will be available for (only) pick up at The League Stadium on Mondays at noon, if you elected to be paid by direct deposit your payment will be processed  on Mondays at noon. It's the players RESPONSIBILITY to assure fans to type in your promo code when buying tix for online live stream or buying merch to receive commission.
• (NOT INCLUDING THE LEAGUE PROMO CODES) Players who have accepted NIL Deals with company's associated with The League are required to meet ALL WEEKLY CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS  using given promo code. The Elite Group earns the agent\rep 20% of every deal as the set maximum amount any agent\rep can receive on any level. Players that reached there respected NIL weekly goal of selling merch with your promo code used at checkout can pick up there payment at The League Arena on Mondays at noon, if you elected to be paid by direct deposit your payment will be processed on Mondays at noon. It's the players RESPONSIBILITY to assure fans to type in your promo code when buying merch to receive commission.
• Players must have account at $0 to be accepted into The League NIL Deal Workshop Program.

Know Before You Go

OUTSIDE OF ARENA

• No guns on premises. There is absolutely no smoking in parking area, no standing outside of cars smoking as fans/players must be in a car smoking including vapes while in parking area. All players and fans are permitted to park in the parking area as determined by The League management and The League staff.

INSIDE THE ARENA

• No guns on premises. There is absolutely no smoking past ticket entrance door, on the field, court or anywhere inside of gated area or gym including vapes. No one is allowed to go live at anytime on any platform as all games are paid sponsor events. The use of still cameras during concerts, events and games as phones, tripods, professional cameras, iPads, tablets, camcorder/Go Pro recording devices and selfie sticks are prohibited as Drones are also not permitted at any event as determined by The League management and The League staff unless you have a media pass and have signed our waiver.  

UNIFORM

• All team uniforms must be The League issued uniforms for the current season, any player not in a uniform issued by The League will be asked to change into a provided uniform as determined by The League management and The League staff or players must sit in the stands with the fans. 
• No durag's, no ski mask or no skull caps
• No jogging pants or non league issued pants nor shorts

SEATING

• All spectators, fans and players on teams not actively playing must sit in the designated seating areas. The only players allowed on the home/away bench must be players apart of the active roster of the team playing and already signed in at the ticket table.
