The League Cheer & Dance Program

2026–2027 Basketball Season

The League Cheer & Dance Program is designed for adult performers from all walks of life—whether you just graduated, work 40+ hours a week, are a parent, or all of the above. This is your opportunity to train, perform, connect, and be featured as part of a growing professional sports league.

Our program emphasizes flexibility, community, visibility, and performance, giving dancers and coaches a structured but realistic pathway to be part of a full season experience.

Sign-Up Requirements

To complete registration, applicants must:

  • Submit the registration form

  • Upload one photo

  • Attach one dance clip video

    • Must be 60 seconds or longer

    • Any dance routine or TikTok trend

    • Must be recorded within the past 30 days

Program Schedule & Commitment

To accommodate busy adult schedules, the program follows a biweekly structure starting in April:

  • One (1) 2-hour practice session per month

  • One (1) public fundraiser or team event per month

  • Events alternate biweekly (every two weeks there will be a practice and fundraiser)

This schedule runs April through November, leading into full game-week participation beginning with:

  • Media Day Bowl Game: December 6, 2026

  • Week 1 Games: December 13, 2026

Once the season begins, the team will meet every game week.

Game Day Commitment

  • Games are played Sunday evenings

  • Season runs November through March

  • Activities include:

    • Photo shoots

    • Halftime performances

    • Special appearances

    • Meet & greets

  • No game-week activities on national holidays

Community & Communication

All cheer and dance members will be added to our private Facebook Group, which will serve as the central hub for:

  • Daily updates & announcements

  • Practice and event locations

  • Activity times & call sheets

  • Media training opportunities

  • Team voting & feedback

  • Filmed practices for athlete development

Every step of this journey will be documented and televised on:

  • The League’s Facebook

  • The League’s YouTube Channel

This gives athletes real visibility while showing the world what it takes to build a successful season.

Registration Fee

  • $25 non-refundable registration fee

  • Fee helps cover administration, media production, and event logistics

Tryout Results

  • All tryout results will be announced March 23, 2026
